It started with the scene
Before there was a can, there was a crowd. Raleigh-Durham's creative scene — the day parties, the art shows, the cookouts that turn into concerts — is where Sazi learned what celebration actually tastes like.
Host, mixologist, founder of SaziFest. If the 919 had a good time on the calendar, odds are Sazi built the night — the origin of everything that followed, not the ceiling.
Chapter two · Behind the bar
The shaker years
Mixology wasn't a pivot — it was the same job with better tools. Sazi built a mobile bartending operation across the Triangle.
Thousands of drinks later, one kept getting the same reaction: “Wait — what IS this? Can I take some home?”
Chapter three · SaziFest
The party got its own festival
When your events outgrow the venue, you build your own. SaziFest became the flagship — music, food, community, cocktail at the center.
The drink was the constant. Everyone at the festival was drinking the answer from the bar years.
Chapter four · The can
Ready to sip, officially
With Dry Fly Distilling as distiller of record, the signature serve became Azi Sazi RTD Cocktail 4Pk: 12% ABV, real Dry Fly vodka with natural flavors.
Dry Fly Distilling is the distiller of record (Spokane, WA); Azi Sazi is a North Carolina brand.
Now it's listed with North Carolina ABC — the origin market. We're taking it further.
