Privacy policy

The short version

This is a marketing site. You can join the list, send a booking inquiry, and RSVP to nights. Ordinary visitors still have no accounts. There is no checkout, no analytics, and no advertising pixels. We don't build profiles of visitors, and we don't sell personal information.

Age verification

Because Azi Sazi is an alcohol brand, we ask whether you're 21 or older before showing the site. Your answer is saved as a flag in your browser's local storage so we don't ask on every visit. It stays on your device, is never transmitted to us, and you can clear it at any time through your browser settings.

Cookies and local storage

We don't set cookies for ordinary visits. Known unfurl and search crawlers get one cookie, azisazi_crawler, for one hour so the age gate can stay out of their way. It isn't HttpOnly — the boot script has to read it. If you aren't a crawler, you never receive it.

The only other cookies are for our own organizers. Signing in to /nights sets azisazi_nights, an HttpOnly cookie for about seven days that only unlocks that view. Starting Google sign-in also sets two short-lived HttpOnly cookies (azisazi_nights_oauth_state and azisazi_nights_oauth_verifier, about ten minutes) to protect the handoff; they're cleared when it finishes. None of these are set for visitors, RSVPs, or door passes.

Your browser may keep two flags in local storage: azisazi_age_ok (you said you're 21+) and azisazi-plug-asks (an on-device “I asked” count on Find it). Neither is sent to us. There are no tracking pixels, session identifiers, or third-party scripts.

The list

When you join the list we collect your email address, an optional first name, confirmation that you are 21+ and consent to hear from us, and the page you signed up from. That information is stored in Refresh (f5send.com), the email platform operated by Obsidian Heron. Joining sends a one-time welcome to the address you gave, and a signup notice to hello@drinkazisazi.com, through Refresh. Later mail is about drops, events, and the can. Unsubscribe with the link on those emails, or write us at the same address.

Booking

The booking form sends your name, email address, inquiry type, and message through Refresh to hello@drinkazisazi.com. We use it to reply. Booking inquiries are not added to the list unless you check the box.

Event RSVP

When you RSVP to a night we collect your name, email address, party size, and confirmation that you are 21+. We store that so we can run the night, and we send a confirmation email. You can join the list at the same time; that option is on by default.

Organizer sign-in

Ordinary visitors still have no accounts. The people who run a night open /nights with a shared door code, or with a Google account we've listed. Google sends us that email once so we can check it. We don't keep Google tokens, we don't look at anything else on the account, and an unlisted account is turned away. Either way you get the azisazi_nights cookie above.

Third-party links

We link out to Instagram, ticketing platforms, and responsible-drinking resources. Once you leave this site, those services' own privacy practices apply — this policy doesn't cover them.

Printed and share QR codes for nights (for example rrte.link/azisazi) go through ReRoute, an Obsidian Heron shortlink service. A scan records that the code was used (rough time and device). That is not your door pass — individual tickets stay on this site.

21+ only

This site is intended for adults 21 and over. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 21, and nothing here is directed at minors. If you believe someone under 21 has contacted us, email us and we'll delete the correspondence.

Changes to this policy

If we add features that change how the site handles information — for example checkout or analytics — we'll update this policy and the date at the top before those features go live.
